Good
Despite being a new writer making his debut, Tarun has tried to implement - and to a large extent pulled of - a rather innovative narrative technique.
The first section is a story of almost serendipitous rise of a young ambitious professional followed by his sudden fall - thru no fault of his own - from grace and a precipitous descent into the depths of depression. INTENSE!!!
The second part reads like a collection of seemingly random reminiscences seen thru an alcoholic haze during a reunion of the protagonist's college mates.
The third & final section, recounting events after his return to India, ties together the preceeding two sections with a nice reveal of a connection of his loving wife to the aforementioned reunion and a hint at redemption.
I can see a definite possibility of a sequel that tells a tale of redemption where the Yesterday & Today join forces to triumph over the ground realities as they exist today in India of Now.
Tarun has a way with words!
I wish him the best.

5.0 out of 5 starsRewind to your campus life
Fresh and captivating, it reminds me of my campus life. I could identify with each and every narration and sub plot. Written straight from the heart with a smooth flowing story line...super impressed and wish Tarun all the very best for his next one. Can't wait for it to hit the stands.

Real life on pages!!! Simple yet striking.
Enjoyed the journey of the writer through each page as if it was a real literature of one of us. Very vivid flow of communication between friends as if in real world. Looking forward for more from the author.
4 out of 5 stars. A Time Machine to take you back in Time!!
Great book to liven up your day. Takes you back to the memories of your school/college days; the stories that you can easily connect with. The style of writing has a great mix of humour and emotions.

A MUST READ !
From the first page, I was hooked. especially since as a college student myself, I was able to connect with the narrative almost instantaneously, & it was not long before I was laughing out loud or shedding tears right along with characters on the page. It took me a day to read this, which wasn't a first for me but was nevertheless a testament to how much I loved the book, as I couldn't put it back down once I started. I would 11/10 would recommend this book if you're looking to board a rollercoaster of emotions from the comforts of your own bed, as you won't be disappointed. Kudos to the writer!
